CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
1) On Sunday Mornings, following the worship service and during Sunday School, all of our high-school students and adults are invited to join Pastor Steve in the Fellowship Hall for Bible study. We go through a variety of studies. Currently we are talking through the book of 1st Corinthians which is filled with great lessons for the church today. There are countless words from Paul that still serve as helpful encouragement and direction to us. Future studies will include other thematical studies or topics such as "What Happens When You Die." 2) In-person on Monday mornings at 10:00am, in the church Fellowship Hall—socially distant and masked up! Come explore the scriptures in a relaxed atmosphere as we look for themes of the upcoming Sunday readings and look for the “sweet spot” of application. Come gain a better knowledge and appreciation for what you’ll hear read each Sunday morning. 3) We have a virtual Bible study on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm. We are going verse-by-verse through the Gospel of Luke, studying the life, teachings, and actions of our Savior. Join us as we rediscover His mission and how that same mission continues in the church today. We’ll be challenged to pattern our hearts after Jesus. In doing so, the Spirit will guide us in how to love and act like Jesus as we join Him in what He is doing in our world today! Contact the church office if you would like to be part of this study. |

CONFIRMATION CLASS is a two-year curriculum for 7th & 8th graders. Our curriculum rotates between an in-depth study of the Small Catechism and equipping our students with solid Apologetics. Students learn about what it means to be a follower of Jesus in our world today, and how we can give faithful witness and defend our faith in the face of doubt or skepticism. We bring unchanging truths into the real-lives of our students so they can grapple with their own faith and take ownership of their faith and relationship with Jesus. Students meet weekly from September to May. 8th graders are confirmed in the Spring. |
